大眾立吞酒場 is another spot in the neighborhood that I need to start a tab on. Half cooked marinated egg, from the grill: asparagus, pork cheek, squid, eggplant and chicken skin.

Selections are few the night we hit Liaoning Street Night Market (遼寧夜市), so we settled on some minced pork noodles, braised tofu, pork heart and the taiwanese special marinated raw clams.

Okay, this will be the last time I post 佃權, since I’ll be checking into this neighborhood sweet spot regularly. Amazing grilled scallops, chicken trio- thigh/cartilage/cheese wrap, grilled mochi, amaebi (sweet shrimp), sake, uni, oden and conch. This is a must visit spot in Taipei.

Fantastic dinner at The Lark in Santa Barbara. White rye sour cocktail, followed by crispy brussel sprouts made with medjool date and garum, duck liver mousse with strawberries and cashews, wedge salad with spicy pecans, and fresh-made pasta with ham hock, goat cheese and pickled mustard seeds.
